MAY 2012 CONFERENCE TIME: Friday evening, May 4, 630-9 - Welcome Evening a gathering for those who commute from afar. Settle in if you have traveled to Ann Arbor over refreshments. LIterature, schedules, membership information, products, and participant literature and news will be available througout the entire weekend. Presenters may wish to check out space and get ready for the next day. Saturday, May 5, 9-6 - The Main Conference Day Note: There is consideration of a Sunday morning gathering or event as an option for those who will be staying on in the area past the conference day. Stay tuned. 830-930- Registration and break-out groups General Morning: National Voices- Inviting our conference attendees to participate in break-out groups to formulate ideas for group discussion through a Group Council. This is where we hear what YOU want, need, vision, and are passionate about for current and future unity. Out of this process may come leadership and resources for the following issues and more: ~ Insurance needs ~ Continuing Education ~ Regional and State Leadership ~ Development/Support of Schools Dan Funsch, Director, American Naturopathic Certification Board on the "how, why, and where " of National Certification for traditional naturopaths. Conference attendees will contribute ideas on how to continue development of this and other national standards of testing and CE. LUNCH GREEN ROUNDS Sharing and discussion of protocols, case history challenges, and the application of natural therapeutics , in small group and large group format. This afternoon segment of sharing and exploration will open up and define our Scope of Practice to one another and for the evolution of the profession. OPEN SESSIONS ANA conference planning is currently working with other practitioners around the country who may share their work with us. Stay tuned!
